The holiday honoring Columbus is under fire these days. But really, Vasco was The Guy. True, he never made it to the Americas. But he actually did what Columbus set out to do: He found the sea route to India. Why did this even matter? Because the spice trade was big business. It was the big intersection of flavor and commerce. And at Friedmans, flavor and commerce are something we can get behind.
Swing by Friedmans and witness stunning Dacor kitchens in action. There will be complimentary tasting as well at one-on-one interactions with brand representatives. See you here. Thank you, Dacor.
A super time was had at Firefighter Appreciation day here at Friedmans. Thanks to all who came, shared the fun and helped support the Long Beach Firefighters Museum. Added thanks to Saxophone George for making the day sound great.
Well over 100 people in attendance raising over $1,400. Guests enjoyed tasting a variety of reds, whites and a sparkling wine accompanied by appetizers provided by Grocery Outlet on 7th St. and the families of the athletes. Thanks to Grocery Outlet Wine Manager, Steve Guilford, for being the consummate Sommelier and co-host.
And the winner of the Microwave is Trinita Renfroe who is a Poly High Special Ed Teacher's Assistant.
